  2. In the search area, type ‘Focus Assist’ and tap on the ‘Focus Assist Settings’ from the number of options.
  3. Locate the ‘Automatic Rules’ section and turn the slider on for the settings you want to permit.
  4. Change the focus level from the drop-down menu to ‘Priority Only’ or ‘Alarms Only’ as per your requirement.
  5. Further, you can set a time for the alerts to go off.

Working with Windows Notifications

Notifications settings are a different menu of settings available on Windows to work with. The steps use Windows notifications are:

  1. Go to the settings panel of your Windows or press ‘Windows + i’ on your Keyboard.
  2. In the search area, type ‘Notifications’ and tap on ‘Notifications and Actions’ from the drop-down menu.
  3. Locate the ‘Outlook’ button from the number of options available and select the same.
  4. The next window appears with multiple settings options like sounds, banners, etc. You can enable these settings as per your requirement.
  5. It also asks you if you want to see the notifications or you want to hide them.
